The Red Car

Here are my favorite illustrations I did taken from Don Stanford's "Red Car."  The first is a scene in which the main character is out for some early morning fishing while the other is him working on the car of his dreams in the garage.  Each is done in charcoal.

The illustration of the boy fishing reminds me of a book that I read when I was little about a little boy and his pet raccoon. The book was my mom's when she was younger, so it had the neat artistic, charcoal illustrations too. :)

I LOVE the second pic it looks sweet and I know the feeling he has on his face working on a car.
